RETRO RINGS AND THE MODERN WORLD

RETRO RINGS AND THE MODERN WORLD

Retro or vintage rings are not just nostalgic but they are also a window to an epic past where the land and human culture was free. People used to depict their art in a piece of jewel and that was considered to the most wonderful era. It was the time when people use to feel freedom, they had the buoyancy that time to create art and to sculpt it into beautiful pieces of jewelry.

There was a time when Victorian, Edwardian and Art Deco set some flamboyant examples in the history of the artistic jewels. People were so into that jewelry that they started copying it and the culture of chocolate diamond rings started from there.

THE VICTORIAN ERA:

The Victorian era was also known as the baroque era of that time. Her beauty and skills were matchless and so the jewelry made in her period was so fascinating. Her courage and bold attitude was the symbol of her signature jewelry she used to wear.

After getting married to King Albert she was idolized by the people of that time. Most of the jewelry was about her attitude and courage that reflects her nature mostly. The artist used to depict her strong personality by using chocolate diamonds and shaping it into some tremendous piece of jewelry.

THE EDWARDIAN ERA:

The Edwardian Era was considered more about freedom and resilience where people used to portray their joy and love to freedom in their magnificent piece of jewels. King Edward was also a fashion elite of his time and he was considered as a fashion sensation also.

His era was more of focusing on the new fashion of his time and incorporating more of silk clothing. The rings made in his period were so about diamonds, gemstones, platinum, and pearls. The people of his time were so into their King’s fashion sense. The rings of his time were very rare and reflect the stunning piece of art people consider worth buying.

THE ART AND DECO PERIOD:

Art and Deco was the era where most of the artist created new designs not only for pure metals but they used more art and their experience to make it in a budget so that middle-class people can also enjoy it. This era focused more on the designs and stonework with a small diamond so the jewelry can stay in budget. They used to work more on the art in making every piece of the jewel. Jewelry making was running huge businesses for them for sure.

THE MODERN PERIOD:

The modern world has so much of new designs and categories in terms of jewelry selection. The use of jewelry is evolved more diversely where people are not more into art and culture but they wanted to show more of their creation. In olden days the use of jewelry was more for indicative to the source of their inspiration whereas nowadays the use of jewelry is more for decorative purpose and to showcase beauty.
